I have this big ol’ collection of fantastic buttons – and, what do I do with them all? Well, I add them to clothes as accents, (think Anthropologie-like) I make some pretty neat barrettes and, low and behold – jewelry. I even had a stint on etsy.com and showed some of them at an art show off of Harrison Blvd. in my little city of Boston. Cool.

These are the reasons why I love my life.

They say to get the honey you have to be nice to the bees. Or, you get more bees with honey than vinegar, or something like that. Either way, the lesson learned is to be nice…

Like just about everyone else in the internet world, I once was asked to tell 25 random things about myself, and one of them was this:::  ’If I see someone in a store, or in a park, or in a public place to which I’d have access to be able to do this, I make it my mission:: If someone is obviously sad, mad or just crabby in general, I go on a quest to make them smile or feel better. It might sound weird, or even pretty damn annoying but it’s true. You should try it out, it’s awfully darn cool to think that your small attempt could possibly make someone’s day.

new for me

I’ve been taking photos my entire life and I love every single minute of it. I sheepishly own every camera I’ve ever had. (About 28 total since I just acquired 3 brand spakin new ones a few weeks ago.) (#1. #2. #3.)  And, I use them all pretty darn frequently. Yikes, that sounds like a lot. 28? Maybe I should slow down a bit…

I still love film cameras, including my lil’ 120 takers, the 35mm’s of course, but will admit I use digital mostly. I guess you could also say, I probably have the most wonderful (and some embarrassing) collections of photos of friends and family out of anyone I know. Not that I’m going to use them in some sort of retaliation rather for complete joy :::
